"You've already lost enough blood," Darius told Krystal firmly. "At least let me seal the wound," he added, worried that any more blood loss would only worsen her already weakened condition.

Darius sighed. "Well, I do." he said. Without another moment of hesitation he grabbed her hand and did a quick drain on himself, sending his energy into her to create a temporary seal on the wound-knowing that the girl would probably interfere before he could completely heal her wound.
Calista watched Darius attempt to heal Krystal from where she sat, guessing that Darius probably had gone against the girl's wishes. Why are you being so stubborn? she thought to herself as she unintentionally bit her lip, her worry for the girl outweighing her annoyance.

"Krystal, wait!" Darius called after her, her slap stingingly slightly though he had endured far worse. "Oh great," he muttered to himself.
Calista got to her feet at once and flew after her. "Krystal, come back!" she called. Darius was after the both girls in an instant, hoping that the twins would be okay on their own for now.

"Krystal, please stop!" Calista called out to her as she continued to give chase through the air. Normally flying for her was the easiest mode of travel for her and she could travel long distances with ease, but she was already feeling herself begin to tire. "It's happening all over again!" she told Darius in frustration remembering how they lost Krystal back at the old mansion before she had been mind-controlled. Darius only nodded, easily catching up to Calista and he glanced briefly at her as he flew at her side. "Maybe you should stop," he told her, noticing her fatigue. "No." Calista told him. "I came back through time to save her. I'm not going to let herself get killed again."

Darius quickly moved ahead, closing the gap between Krystal and himself even further. "Krystal!" he called after her, making sure to keep her in his sight. Calista was a short distance behind him, struggling to maintain the pace she was flying at. "Calista, wait here." Darius called back to her. "I'll go after her," he said, knowing that the girl was already worn. "No...I'm coming with you." she managed to say as she flew behind him.

Darius reached to Krystal first and landed quickly in front of her. "Krystal, are you alright?" he asked as he knelt down and grasped her shoulders, hoping to draw her attention toward him. Calista landed a few seconds later next to Darius and knelt as well. "You aren't hurt are you?" she asked, slightly breathless from the quick flight-though under normal circumstances the chase would not have been a problem.

"Yeah, we noticed." Darius replied with a shrug. "But if you haven't noticed we can be just as stubborn as you," Calista added with a slight smile. "Come on, let's get you back to where the twins are," Darius told her.

Darius sighed. He knew he could always carry Krystal back with them-probably kicking and screaming, but he did not have the heart to violently force her against her will. He glanced briefly at Calista, wondering what she would do.
"Fine." Calista replied as she sat upon the ground. "I'll just wait here as well then." Darius then sat down next her though he said nothing, already sensing that this was either go to end up being a long wait or end up in another chase.

As Melody remained on the ground, knocked out, Storm proceeded to gather up more lighting from the clouds, and Magneto continued to manipulate the metal in Gambit's staff. Pulling it from Gambit once again, Magneto threw the staff at Gambit's chest, hoping to knock him out and then move onto another X-Man.
Storm absorbed more lighting from the clouds overhead, and she quickly brought down a cloud of wind to cover the grounds with a think fog, along with a forceful wind.

Darius said nothing as he continued to wait with Calista to see what action Krystal would take. "Krystal-please try to understand-we don't want you to get hurt..." she started to say knowing that the girl would probably just give her a sharp retort. Darius turned toward Calista suddenly. "Think the twins are okay?" he asked. Calista bit her lip, not knowing what to say. Her concern for their welfare had been gnawing at the back of her mind for some time now. "I hope so," she said finally. "And I hope the others are okay as well." she added softly, knowing alluding to Ben, Gambit and Shawn was probably a mistake in Krystal's presence.

Magneto was stunted a second time by the drawing of Darius, and Storm caught a lighting bolt that struck ground next to Ben right before she fell to the ground, knocked out. Magneto, working to maintain his strength in the midst of being drained, pulled the staff from Gambit and soon sent it hurtling towards the drawing of Darius.

Calista jerked back slightly as if Krystal had slapped her, stung by her words. She averted her gaze but said nothing, knowing that there was some truth to them. Darius noticed her reaction and gave her hand a gentle squeeze before rising to his feet, his patience with Krystal reaching its limit. "And what do you plan to do?" he challenged. "Charge in there recklessly and get yourself killed? Let everyone else's sacrifice be worthless? When you ran from us you did not morph-why Krystal?" he asked her, his voice hard. "You want to help the others? Then stay here-at least they know you are safe and can focus on the fight at hand." Darius growled slightly in frustration then. More than anything he wanted to check up on the others, but he knew that leaving both girls alone could end up being a mistake as well.

"Yeah, everything is fine-for now." Darius replied to Dan, trying to keep his temper in check. He was just as frustrated as the other two with just waiting around-but at the way things were going he did not trust that Krystal or even Calista would stay put without being reminded of their injuries.
Calista stared at Darius in shock. Rarely had she heard him use such a tone, though she could understand his feelings. Rising to her feet, she put a hand on his shoulder. "They are skilled fighters. We have to believe they are okay..." she said trying to make him feel better though she knew those were empty words coming from her. "Do you honestly think they are?" he asked her quietly as he glanced down at her. Calista remained silent, knowing that the worry in her voice would betray her. Darius sighed, taking her silence for her answer. Turning his attention away from her again, he kept his gaze fixed in the direction they had come, hoping to see any sign of the others.

"Ben!" Calista exclaimed in relief as she raced up to him as fast as she could, tears of relief in her eyes. She gave him a hug before pulling back. "Are you alright?" she asked. "How are the others?" she asked.
Darius walked up to him afterwards and clasped his shoulder. "You showed up at the right time," Darius remarked with a grin. He then waited for news about how the rest of their group.

"That's a relief," Calista remarked with a smile to hearing that the others were fine. Her smile then faded as Ben asked if everything went alright with them. She glanced slightly at Darius not knowing what to say. What were they suppose to tell him...that they had nearly lost Krystal-again? "Well, at least we weren't attacked..." she said with a forced smile. "It's a bit of a story..." Darius answered, not entirely thrilled of having one them recount the mishap that nearly happened.
