"No, you don't." Calista replied as she put an arm comfortingly around Krystal's shoulder. "You are my friend, Krystal, and I have no regrets in traveling back through time to save you."
Darius only nodded at Ben as he, Tess and Dan continued to head into the woods. He still remained behind the pair in case their group should be attacked from the rear. He was glad that Dan would not let his sister go back-though in truth, he would not have let the girl go back-nor would he have let her brother. He knew that the fight was already far too dangerous and he was not about to risk any more lives.

Calista followed Krystal's gaze as she too stared back toward the battlefield. She was starting to wonder how the other's were faring, knowing that Storm and Melody were still out there. She sighed then, part of her was tempted to go to check on the others, but she refused to leave Krystal-not after what she came back in time to save her. “I hope the others are okay…” she muttered more to herself as she continued to look in the direction from whence they came.
Darius turned back as Tess spoke and sighed. A part of him did want to stay to help the others, but they seemed to be doing fine right now. "No, I'm coming" he replied. Glancing back at the other's fighting one last time he then turned to follow the twins.

Calista breathed a sigh of relief and gave the twins a warm smile in greeting. "That's good." she remarked quietly. Yet, she knew that she would not be completely relieved until she saw all of them alive and well with her own eyes. Darius then came up to both Krystal and herself. "Are you both alright?" he asked, noticing how worn both girls seemed to be. "I'm fine." Calista remarked. "If you want to help anyone, you should help either Krystal or...." she paused then trying to remember the boy's name. She had been so distraught when Ben had mentioned his name, but she searched her mind nontheless. "Dan." she said finally, remembering the name Ben had mentioned in the actual reality-though she still did not know the girl's name.

Storm, involuntary, pulled back the tornado and stood dormant in the middle of the battlefield. Melody, not given instructions, simply fell back to the ground from Gambit's card and picked herself up again. Seeing him to be injured, she picked up a splash of dirt and tossed it at Gambit's face and then motioned up a rock two-fists in size and prepared herself to hit Gambit with it.
Magneto continued to move towards the fighting group. Most of them had wandered outward to leave the fight for some odd reason. Seeing Gambit, he took notice of his staff and quickly used his powers to steal his staff.

Calista sighed again not knowing exactly what to do, and from the looks of it, no one seemed to make a move either.
Darius only nodded at Krystal and Dan before he took a seat next to Calista, keeping his gaze fixed on where they came from.
Unable to take the silence any longer Calista then turned to the twins. "So how did both of you end up here?" she asked them.

Calista merely nodded. "It's probably a good thing you didn't." she said quietly, giving Tess a slight smile. "Want to come with us afterwards?" she asked the both of them then. "There's an abandoned school where all of us are staying-well since our first home got destroyed." she added.
Darius said nothing, still wondering how the battle was faring.

Calista sighed, knowing that Dan (maybe even Tess ) did not trust them. Well, that was understandable-after all they were strangers to them. She merely nodded to Tess in response before glancing around to look for Krystal. Rising, she slowly walked over to the girl. "You ok?" she asked her.
Darius did not even notice when Calista had moved off. The waiting was making him restless and the battle completely occupied his mind. He wanted to go to check on the others and make sure they were okay.

Melody flew back on the ground and lay for a few minutes. She had gone through the same routine again and again with Gambit, and she was getting tired of it. Sitting up, she looked around to find someone else to attack. Lifting another rock from the ground, she threw it at Ben.
Magneto froze at the moment he was beginning to be drained. Unsure of what was happening, he remained stagnant for a bit until, with Gambit's staff, he fired it at the drawing of Darius with full force, after contemplating that he was the one that was draining him.
Seeing more X-Men show up, Storm began to play with the rain again. A shower soon rained down upon the group, and a crack of thunder could be heard right before a bolt of lighting flew down right in front of the two drawings: Nightcrawler and Wolverine.

Calista sighed, understanding somewhat on how Krystal felt. She was worried about the others as well, but she could not let Krystal go back to the fight. It was far too dangerous. Sitting beside the girl, she gently gave her shoulder a comforting squeeze, though she could say nothing. What could she say-that the others would be fine? She knew that would be a far-out lie, especially when she too was worried about them.
Darius turned and gave both Dan and Tess a weak smile. "I hope you are right," he told Tess, wanting to believe her words but still concerned about the battle.

Calista rose as fast as she could and flew the short distance before she planted herself in front of Krystal. "I won't let you go back there." she told her defiantly. "You will have to fight me first."
Darius quickly turned his attention to both girls, rose to his feet and flew over to both of them. "Both of you are staying here." he told them, an edge to his voice. "If anyone is going back it will be me. The two of you are in no shape for a battle."

Calista growled slightly, thoroughly frustrated now. "Say what you want, Krystal. I saw what happened-and I swear as long as I live I am not going to let that happen again." she told her, her voice as hard as steel. "I watched you die once. I won't watch it again."
"Krystal-you aren't strong enough to fight." Darius told her in a calmer voice, hardly perturbed by her comment. "Don't make me do something I will regret later." he added.

"Like heck I am staying here if you decide to bulldoze your way into a battle and get yourself killed again." Calista replied, unable to hide her anger any longer.
"And what if by going back you end up getting someone killed?" Darius asked. "They expect you to be here-safe. How can they fight if they are worried about you?" he asked.

"Well that would be pointless." Calista remarked, though she was relieved that Krystal was staying here-for now. She knew that Krystal was furious with her, but she could live with her anger and even hatred-as long she knew that the girl would live. Just as quickly as her anger had come it seemed to have vanished and her eyes softened a bit. "Look, Krystal. I'm sorry." she said in a softer voice before turning away and sitting some distance from her, knowing that it would be wise to give the girl some space.
Darius sighed and then moved into a position where he could keep his eyes on both girls. He hated waiting around here as much as they did, but he was not going to let either of them run foolishly back into the battle-and possibly get themselves killed.

From where he stood, Darius noticed Krystal picking at the bandage, and walked over to her then. "You are hurt." he said matter-of-factly, frowing as he saw blood seeping through the bandage. "Let me help you," he told her.

Melody, knocked out from the blow, fell forward, face-down on the ground.
Magneto, blown back by the force of the cards, reached his arm forward and worked to control the only piece of metal he could see. Controlling Gambit's staff, once again, Magneto slowly picked Gambit up off of the floor, and, waiting for him to be up a considerable distance off of the ground, he flung the staff towards the nearest tree, hoping to knock Gambit out from the force.
Storm watching emotionless as the drawings of the two X-Men dissolved before her., Transferring the energy she worked up in the clouds over, she fired a bolt of lighting full-force at Shawn.
