Calista opened her eyes, feeling the energy pouring into her thanks to Ben's drawing of Darius. "Ben, stop. Don't kill yourself. I'll be fine," she told him with as much energy as she could manage. "Thank you," she said as she gave him a gentle smile. Her smile then widened as she saw Krystal, and her eyes glistened with tears of relief. "Krystal, thank goodness you are alright!" she cried, forgetting for a moment that none of what she said would make any sense since none had the memory of her dying. She wanted to throw her arms around the girl and hug her, but knew that she did not have a moment to waste. She was severely weakened and she had a hunch that she would need every moment to get Krystal out of the line of fire. With that she rose to her feet and nearly collapsed from the strain of rising to quickly, but managed to catch her balance just in time. "Krystal, I know this is not going to make any sense, but we need to get out of here now. You need to get out of here now," she said, urgency in her voice.

"Let's just say I have a bad feeling something is going to happen-happen to you. We are in Jack's territory remember-and he still has control of Storm and Melody. You have to get out of here now...while there is still time." Calista replied as she tried to pull Krystal away with her, knowing that she probably made absolutely no sense right now.

Not a bad idea, Calista thought to herself. She knew her main purpose was to save Krystal-but she did not want to risk anyone else getting hurt. She then turned back to Ben. "Ben, I know this is going to sound utterly crazy, but let's just say I know that Krystal was killed in another reality, and unless she gets out of her now, the same is going to happen again." She then glanced at Ben for a brief moment. "You had better leave as well. I don't want to risk seeing you injured further after you tried to save me" she added, knowing that the reality could change so that someone else that she cared about could also be killed. She sighed inwardly, knowing that both of them would probably think that she had gone mad, but she had no logical way of explaining anything when time was against her. She did not even know if she could explain it logically under normal circumstances. Her gaze then flickered briefly to Darius who was healing Dan. Krystal is right. We need to get him out of here too, she thought-not wanting to see another person hurt (or killed) in the battle that she knew was to come.

"This is Shawn." Calista replied to Ben. "He has the ability to travel through time-both the past and future." She then turned back to Krystal. "You died saving Darius and myself from Storm's lightning," she told her. "Listen, its a long story and I don't have time to explain it all right now. All I know is that you have to get out of here before the events happen again. I saw you die once. I won't stand by and let it happen again."

"Alright." Calista said quietly, knowing that she did not have any time to argue-though she hated the idea of leaving Ben and the others behind-especially when she knew what was to come. "Be careful Ben." she added, worry in her eyes. Her gaze then swept across the scene where Darius was still healing Dan. "Watch your back," she told Ben in warning. "With Darius's clone finished and Kira's clone gone, he will call in both Melody and Storm." She drew in a deep breath then. "It might be wise to warn the others. The best thing may be for us to leave with everyone as soon as possible. I don't want to see anyone else hurt-or worse." she muttered, knowing that she could not bear it if someone else were to be killed. She then turned to Krystal. "Let's go," she told her. Even though she was still weak she began to lead her back to the safety of the woods and away from where the fight had taken place before.

Calista turned back to Krystal. "We have to go now." she told her urgently. "It's too dangerous for you to remain here," she said as she pushed Krystal forward, keeping her own body between Krystal and the battlefield, hoping that if something should happen now-she would be the first to take the hit instead of Krystal.
Darius turned and looked up at Ben. "The boy is still injured," he replied as he nodded to Ben. "And who is he?" he asked referring to Shawn. He could tell by Ben's tone that something was up, though he could not understand what.

"Well the longer any of tarries we may all end up dead." Calista responded. "I'm sorry, Krystal-but you have to get out of here now. You can hate me for this later, but I will not let you die again." she added.
Darius nodded to Dan and stopped healing him before glancing at Ben, confused at what Ben had just told him. "Calista?" he questioned before glancing around to see her trying to push Krystal away from the battlefield. What would she know about Krystal dying, and what on earth is going on? he wondered to himself. He wanted to ask more questions, but figured that now was not the time for it. "Alright then, let's go." he replied. He then turned back to glance at Jack. "What are we going to do about him?" he asked.

The peaceful night slowly began to surge. A series of clouds flooded the night sky, and a roar of wind could be hear throughout the field.
Storm and Melody began to walk up on the group of travelers. Storm slowly manipulated the wind and rain to shower down on the crowd while Melody was lifting a variety of pebbles around and hastily flung them towards the group as everyone began to see each other.

"No. We have to go now. Or if it will make you feel any better, we can both die together? How does that sound?" she asked wryly, getting a bit irrated how everything was turning out. "Now come on," she added as she began to push Krystal to safety again. She then turned back to the group. "Hey guys, we had better hurry. We are probably running out of time!" she called back to them. "And I can't get Krystal out of here so if you don't mind..." she added, growing more desperate as she could feel the minutes taking by.
Had it been at any other time, Darius would have smirked at her last statement, but he could hear the desperation in her voice and though everything sounded crazy, he knew she was not making this up. "Well, we had better hurry. If he is coming with us, we are going to need to tie him up to keep him from escaping," Darius mentioned indicating Jack. "And from the looks of it..." he was cut off the weather began to change. "Watch out!" he yelled instead as he formed a dark energy shield around the group he was with as Melody's pebbles came flying toward them-managing to deflect the stones.
Calista glanced around as she felt Storm manipulating the weather. "Oh no. It begins again." No longer caring what Krystal thought of her, she made sure to keep herself between the girl and their attackers. She did not want to risk Krystal dying again.

Calista looked at Krystal. "You are still weak from battling Darius's clone. I can't ride you." she told her. Then a new idea came to her. She still had some strength to create energy beams and shields, and if things looked grim enough she knew she had the ability to absorb any form of energy-normally without any damage-but in her weakened condition she did not know how much she could actually take. She might do better to give into Krystal at this point, rather than stand around and argue with her. "Alright," she said finally giving into Krystal and gingerly mounting her back, hoping the girl would be okay. "Let's go." she told her.
Darius was about to drain Storm when Shawn fired his gun at her. “Are you trying to kill her?” he asked incredulous-not realizing that it was set to stun.

Calista glanced behind her upon Krystal's back. She knew that they were still too close to the battlefield. "Perhaps just a bit further," she told her. She then looked down at Krystal. "Are you alright?" she asked, worried that the girl was straining herself-though she knew she would probably just get a growl as a response-seeing that Krystal was in lion form.
"Cool weapon," Darius remarked to Shawn before turning to Ben. "I can't just leave all of you in this battle." he told him, though a part of him wanted to check on how both Calista and Krystal were doing. Moreover, he knew that Ben had a point-the needed to get the twins out of battle zone.

Calista groaned as she landed with a thud upon the ground and lay still, knocked out from the fall.
Darius slowly nodded. "Alright. Be careful," he told them. He then turned back to the twins. "Let's go," he told the twins as he flew up to them.

Storm surged the air around and created a blanket of static electricity through the air. A shield blocked the shot from her, and another struck the gun. Turning towards Shawn, she deemed him the largest threat. Creating a whirl of wind, a tornado formed in the clouds and quickly fell to the ground next to Shawn.
Melody was flung a few yards back from the card. She landed on her back and hoisted herself up, motioning a pile of sticks in the wood, she flew the pile at Gambit in hopes to take him out.
Magneto had exited the building and looked over towards the group. Scanning around for metal, he located the nearest as a series of outside piping. Removing it from its place, Magneto sent the pipe towards Darius and, simultaneously, causing a flurry of water to come surging out of the water, raining on the group.

Some time passed before Calista groaned as her eyes slowly fluttered open and she gingerly sat up, wincing as pain shot through her body from the impact from her fall. "Ugh. This is just not my day," she muttered to herself. Her attention then turned to Krystal. "Krystal!" she cried, seeing her unconscious on the ground. "Oh no." she muttered as she crawled over to her and gently placed her head on her lap. "Krystal, please wake up." she said softly as she gently shook her. She knew that the girl was weak. I should not have ridden her in her lion form. she thought, guilt welling up within her again.
"You ok?" Darius called back to Ben after he threw a drawing of one of Gambit's charged cards. He then changed his position and placed himself between the battle and the twins as they continued to head for the woods. "Keep going." he urged them, his back toward them as he stepped backwards into the woods, his eyes still on the battle.
