Appearance :: Black hair, blue eyes. His hair is longish and covers part of his face at times. His eyes glow bright when fully charged. He wears black most of the time, and dons a Monroe lip ring.

Power :: Electrical Absorption- absorbs electricity at all times: from static in the air, electrical appliances, outlets, etc (often causing lights to flicker, etc).
Lightning Blasts- He can discharge the energy through lightning blasts from his hands or body
Superhuman Speed- ability to channel the energy into bursts of super-speed
Personality :: He is mild tempered most of the time but gets restless easily. He also seems stuck up at times but it's only because he doesn't know how to act.
History :: He grew up in a wealth home but left when at age 14 he found he had mutant powers. He was found by the Professor and stayed at the school for 2 years (not too long). Derek left the mansion at age 16 and hasn't joined the X-men or the Brotherhood but may have to choose soon. He went to school with Rane and Carlet and was friends with them, but he hasn’t seen them in two years.
Other :: Is a Alpha level mutant. Well-skilled in martial arts learned during his brief stay at the X-Mansion. He's comfortable and even enjoys being a mutant to a certain extent. One of his weaknesses is that if he doesn't release some of the charges building up inside of him, his mind races and he can get scatterbrained, hyper, and in more serious cases lose consciousness.
