Calista merely nodded again, not sure what to say any more, so she opted to say nothing. She could tell from his demeanor and his smile that he held little hope, nor trust for this to work. With that she stepped forward and headed back outside to the others, knowing that the Professor would be coming as well.

Calista turned back to the Professor as they came out of the building and joined the group there. "Professor, this is Shawn." she said indicating the man that wanted to make a deal with them. "He is a time traveler..." she began.

(What was I doing then?? Hmm.. I think was was walking over to get KFC for lunch. 3.99 for a small popcorn chicken is seriously ridiculous. XD)
"I see," the professor began, examining Shawn and intrigued with the two new kids in the group. Looking back over at Shawn, the Professor met him eye to eye before asking, "And, you intend to time travel to get Krystal back?" His face remained optimistic as his heart sank at the sight of Krystal.

(I feel all powerful. XD)
"It is not the date I am concerned about," the professor wittingly responded, giving a slight smirk towards Shawn and then moving back to a solemn reverence, "It is what may happy after you save Krystal."
The Professor sat in thought for a good while longer. His mind was going through the possibilities, but his heart could not pull forth an abrupt 'yes' or 'no'. Sighing, he looked back up at Shawn and gave his answer, "If someone agrees to your deal, you have my permission." His mouth closed with a sense of absoluteness moving throughout the entire group as his thoughts went towards regretting what occurrences may come forth from this declaration.

"I'll agree to the deal, if Shawn has no objections," Calista said after a moment, her eyes studying him all the while, too afraid was she to meet Darius's gaze now. "Calista..." Darius whispered, his eyes filled with both a mixture of worry for her and hurt. Calista finally glanced at him, feeling sorrow fill her at his look. This is how it must be, her eyes told him, though she said nothing. She knew the risk that she was taking. If she managed to survive-the reality would change. None would remember the deal that she had made, nor would any have any memory of her dying save for her-and she knew that burden would probably make her the loneliest of all. Yet she knew she had to risk it, for she could not live with herself if she did not try to save the woman who had died to save her.

Calista nodded slowly before she walked up to Shawn. "I have made my choice," she said quietly. "The memory of her death will be my burden-and mine alone," she added softer, knowing that none would remember the events that happened. "But you are right, it would be best if we go now," she echoed.

Calista only nodded, trying to get a grasp on what he meant. From what she guessed from his explanation was that she would be in the same shape as she was in shortly before Krystal was struck by lightning-which meant more difficulty in fighting for her-since she had nearly been drained by the clone. "So how does this time traveling bit work? And what exactly do you mean by a past and future self?" she asked him.

Calista shook her head at Ben's words. "Forget it. I'll die before I do such thing," she told him. She gave him a wry smile then. "You keep saying that we went back to save you-what good will all our efforts be if you are killed in the process?" she asked. Darius came up to her next. "Take care," he whispered to her. "I can't to lose you," he added, his dark eyes locking with her blue ones. "I'll be fine," she said with a gentle smile. "Don't worry." Darius only sighed then, not liking the risk that she would be taking, though he knew it was pointless to talk her out of it. Just be safe. he thought to himself as he stepped back. With that she looked back to Shawn and drew in a deep breath. "Let's go," she told him.

"Nope." she replied to Shawn's inquiry about having teleported before. As soon as she spoke they teleported back through time. The experience was none that she felt before nor could she describe. They moved so fast, that it seemed that they did not move at all. Before she knew it, she they had arrived back in time.
