Darius and Calista glanced about at all of the groups. Nightcrawler was heading to talk to Gambit, Ben and Tess were talking and Gambit was guarding Jack. Calista could have laughed at the result-at least so far things sort of ended the same-they still had Jack. She and Darius then walked over to Krystal who was by herself. "Hey." Calista told Krystal, giving her a tentative smile. She was unsure how the girl would react to her-especially after how she practically forced her to stay away from the battle. "You ok?" Darius then asked the girl, noting how glum she looked.

"What?! " Calista exclaimed. Alone?" she questioned further raising an eyebrow. She was glad that the girl would wait at least until the others were freed, but after that she had no idea if she planned to go off on her own. "Do you even know where to begin looking?" she asked her. "Listen," Darius told her. "You aren't the only one who wants to find Kira. All of us will find a way to get her back-don't try to do it alone." Calista nodded. She was not even sure she wanted Krystal to go on the mission, considering that she had already been killed once. If anything happened to her again because they allowed her to go on a reckless rescue mission, it would be her fault. She sighed then, knowing that if she objected further would lead to another argument, one that she was in no mood to deal with.

"Can you truly blame me for that? But to answer your question, yes." Calista replied. “Krystal, you were killed once because of me. I won’t let that happen again. We were lucky that time that we ran into Shawn. We might not be so lucky again." She almost smirked then, "And basically he told me to keep an eye on you-though I see that will probably be impossible to do so."

"It is my fault if you took the lightning to save me." Calista argued back. She sighed. This was going to get her nowhere. "Krystal-let's just wait to see what the others say." Darius told her. "Look, we aren't going to let Kira stay missing. We'll find her. But if you go running off again it will just hamper our efforts to find Kira." Calista sighed again. She could understand Krystal's need to do something, but after what had happened, she knew she could not indulge it-even if it meant getting into what may turn into bitter arguments.

Xavier sat in his office, filing through the papers scattered over the course of his desk. His ears were attentive to the television and soon to the whooshing sound of the wind from Nightcrawler. Lifting his gaze from the desk to the door, Xavier turned the television off and moved back from the desk, slowly heading towards the entrance to his new office space.
Smiling, Xavier looked down the hallway into the kitchen, where a wind from teleportation just appeared. "You looking attentively for someone?" Xavier asked, scooting towards the kitchen.

Calista said nothing, knowing that she was probably being paranoid, but after everything that had happened, she couldn't help herself. She knew that until they had Jack taken care of, there will still be a nagging feeling in the back of her mind. Then there was Kira. Who knows where she was now-and worse yet, what if some else had her-someone who ended up being more dangerous than Jack? "Just in case Jack manages to call any back up. We have no idea how many mutants he had under his control. He controlled you once-now I am not sure if he will try to hurt you." Darius replied to her.

Xavier was saddened at the thought of Jack containing the hold on others. He had known of Melody and Storm, but not of his dear friend Eric. "I was able to for Krystal," Xavier optimistically replied, "Just show me where I need to be."

Calista heard her mention something about Juggernaut and stared at her incredulous-though she knew she should not have been surprised. "Krystal-you can't be serious about going after him again." she stated. "Don't you remember what he did the last time?" she questioned. Darius then glanced over at Jack, and caught the man's gaze, glaring at him all the while. From where he was, he could sense that Jack had something up his sleeve and he did not like it one bit. "Be careful," he muttered to both Calista and Krystal. Calista then followed Darius's gaze, her eyes then coming to rest upon Jack. A vile taste filled her mouth at the sight of him. She then turned away again, hoping once again that the Professor could free their friends and they could then decide what to do with Jack without fear of hurting one of their own. "I don't like the look in his eyes," Darius muttered. "He's plotting something..."

Xavier slowly followed behind Nightcrawler, and he soon was outside glancing around at everyone scattered throughout the lawn. His heart grew heavy the moment he caught glimpse of Storm, Melody, and Magneto, as he remained in a simple stare before moving himself forward to the group.
"I will work on Melody first," Xavier told Nightcrawler and waited for one of the X-Men to pick Melody up off of the ground and bring her to him.

Calista studied Krystal for a moment. "Krystal-at least think it through. If you aren't careful, your need for revenge could one day be your undoing." she told her quietly.
Darius turned his attention to the Professor and hearing him mention Melody's name, he walked over to the girl and gently picked her up before carrying her over Xavier. "Professor," he said simply as an acknowledgement as he waited for Xavier to help her.

Calista sighed when Krystal remained silent, knowing that her words probably just fell on deaf ears. No matter how she pleaded, she had a sickening hunch that the girl would still go after Juggernaut or Jack, (possibly both) to make them pay-no matter how dangerous it was. With that she turned her attention toward the Professor, watching to see how he would free Melody from Jack's control.

(I haven't really figured out how Xavier is going to do it either, lol. Okay, now for the try...)
Xavier had waited patiently for Melody to be placed nearby. Then, staring her down eye to eye, Xavier wandered into Melody's clouded mind. He searched through the thoughts, taking notice of each individual thought and separating the differences.
It took some time, but, once all of the thoughts were separated, Xavier proceeded to remove them from Melody's mind. She was lucky to not have Jack to have a tight hold on her.
Inhaling heavily, Melody feel backward onto the ground. She took a few heavy breaths and looked around, not sure whether to be cheerful or embarrassed. Filing through her emotions, Melody looked up at Xavier and smiled right before stalling in shock of still be tied up.

Calista held her breath. Gone was the zombie appearance that had been the trademark of Jack's mind control. Melody was free. "Thank heavens." Calista breathed in a whisper as she clasped her hands together and drew them up to her chin, praying that the Professor could free the other two.
Darius knelt beside Melody and searched her face. Seeing the zombie look gone from her expression, he quickly untied her. "It's good to have you back." he told her.

Calista's eyes remained riveted on the events taking place. She could only hope that the Professor would be able to free Storm and afterwards Magneto just as easily. She had not seen Jack try to communicate with Krystal, but she risked a brief glance in his direction before looking away again. For some unknown reason she was starting to feel a bit uneasy. She knew that once the Professor freed their friends, Jack would be all the more desperate to escape-and desperate men were more often than naught the most dangerous of all.
Darius watched as Ben and Dan brought Storm to the Professor. Once again, he waited for Xavier to take action.

Melody smiled and nodded her head to Nightcrawler. Anything and everything sounded good right then.
Xavier sighed as he watched Storm be brought closer. He knew the hold on her was stronger than Melody for the simplistic effect that she had been under Jack's control for much longer. Initiating the process once again, Xavier slowly moved through Storm's mind, separating the thoughts of Storm and the holds of Jack.
